Piotr Szuster was born and raised in Cracow, Poland. He has earned MSc in Computer Science at the Cracow University of Technology, and is now a PhD student at AGH Cracow University of Science and Technology.
Currently he is a research and teaching assistant at Cracow University of Technology, and a weather correspondent with The Standeford Journal. His research interests revolve around data fusion techniques, spatial analysis, weather data processing.
Since 2016 he has held the position of management board member of Skywarn Poland. He is the author of Sky Predict 2 weather warning system.
He was involved in work of Polish parliament's commissions on the re-use act, and the author and co-author of various scientific papers, and quoted in IPCC's report (2021).
