International Support For China's One-China Policy Amid Escalation With US Over Taiwan

TAIWAN - As U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is expected to arrive in the Asia Pacific, growing concerns come from other countries who are in support of China instead of the United States and an independent Taiwan.
Live fire drills from China & Taiwan are taking place, the Taiwan Straits are gleaming with tracer rounds, air raid exercises in Taiwan, and the world is watching. What will be the next move?
Russia has now publicly backed China in its One-China policy and supporting China's territorial sovereignty over Taiwan. Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi says that respect for the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries is a key fundamental principal of foreign policy, vowing that the Islamic Republic stands in solidarity with China, according to Iran's Ministry of Justice News.
Moscow has been supportive of China generally, and many news agencies have compared Russia's military operation in Ukraine to a possible next move by China to retake Taiwan, based on China's One-China policy.
The issue with Pelosi's visit is the fact that she is 3rd in the line of succession to the President of the United States of America, leaving the position of Vice-President to assume the responsibilities of President, should anything happen to the current sitting President Joe Biden.
She would in fact be the most senior U.S. official to visit Taiwan since Newt Gingrich visited as House Speaker, 25 years ago. The Associated Press also quoted Pelosi last week as saying that no one has ever said that we were for Taiwan independence, which was up to the Taiwanese population to decide for themselves.
The Chinese military and government strongly object to any and all foreign visits to Taipei, which has sparked serious escalation for Pelosi, who is known to be a longtime critic of the CCP.
The Moscow Times has reiterated that on Friday, July 29th, things have seemed to escalate, with the Kremlin expressing complete solidarity with China, over its stance on Taiwan. This news release from Moscow was preceded by a telephone call between President's Joe Biden and Xi Jinping, where rhetoric such as "those that play with fire, will get burned".
"We respect China's sovereignty and territorial integrity and believe that no country in the world should have the right to question this or take any inflammatory or other steps... We are convinced that such behavior on the international arena can only cause additional tension." - Dmitry Peskov, Russian Press Secretary & Diplomat
China has maintained a friendly status with Russia as western countries have imposed major sanctions on Russia and individuals over Russia's special military operation in Ukraine. China is now the biggest importer of Russian oil and other goods. Russia and China are also fellow nation members in the BRICS nations.
During an another phone conversation on Friday, the Iranian President Raeisi told Xi Jinping that Tehran is also looking to expand its relations with Beijing in all areas regardless of international developments and stated that any interference by the US to revive Cold War scenarios would indicate decline and weakness. Iran also stated that across the world, most countries recognize China's One-China policy over Taiwan, including the US which has no formal diplomatic ties to Taipei.
On July 29th, Taiwan held its biggest ever Han Kuang military drills as tensions began to build. On July 30th, China, held massive military drills, moving what seemed to be every piece of hardware it could muster, to the Fujian Province, holding live-fire drills.
