7.5 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Japan - Tsunami Threat Alert No Longer Active

The tsunami warning that was originally in effect has since been lifted and there is currently no tsunami warning in place.

TOKYO - A 7.5 magnitude earthquake hit Japan at a depth of 10km (6.2 miles). The black dots on the map represent population density. The tsunami warning has since been lifted and there is currently no tsunami warning in effect.
