RED SEA — Two maritime incidents occurred near Al Hudaydah, Yemen, on July 6 and July 7, 2025, involving attacks on the merchant vessels MV Magic Seas and MV Eternity C by Houthi rebels.
The attacks resulted in the sinking of both vessels, with all crew members of the MV Magic Seas rescued, while the MV Eternity C suffered casualties and has crew members missing, allegedly kidnapped by the Houthi rebels, according to the U.S. Embassy in Yemen:
