Biden Administration Announces Additional Security Assistance for Ukraine
Valued at up to $500 million, the package includes key capabilities to support Ukraine's counteroffensive operations, strengthen its air defenses to help Ukraine protect its people.
Department of Defense: “The Department of Defense (DoD) has announced additional security assistance for Ukraine valued at up to $500 million and includes “key capabilities to support Ukraine's counteroffensive operations, strengthen its air defenses to help Ukraine protect its people”.
This authorization is the Biden Administration's forty-first (41st) drawdown of equipment from DoD inventories for Ukraine since August 2021.
This package includes “key capabilities to support Ukraine's counteroffensive operations, strengthen its air defenses to help Ukraine protect its people, as well as additional armored vehicles, anti-armor systems, critical munitions, and other equipment”.
