LONDON - The British Ministry of Defense has reported that its Navy’s missile system used to destroy drones in the Red Sea as part of Operation Prosperity Guardian will receive significant upgrades and enhancements.
According to the Ministry, the missiles for the Royal Navy’s Sea Viper Air Defense System will be upgraded with a new warhead, as well as new software that will better enable it to intercept and “defeat” ballistic missile threats and will be used to protect the British Carrier Strike group.
