Canadian Government: Avoid non-essential travel to Lebanon due to an unpredictable security situation, the increased risk of terrorist attack and the armed conflict with Israel.

The security situation can deteriorate without warning. Regional advisories are in effect and you should continue to avoid all travel south of the Litani River.

In the event that the armed conflict intensifies, commercial means to depart the country may be impacted. The Government of Canada’s ability to provide consular services during an active conflict, including evacuation of citizens, may be limited.
