SPRATLY ISLANDS - After the Philippine Coast Guard placed navigational buoys with the Philippine national flag on them around the contested Spratly islands, China has now deployed at least three buoys of their own "to ensure the safety of navigation," according to the Chinese Ministry of Transport on Wednesday.
