WASHINGTON - CIA Director William Burns made a “secret” visit to Ukraine in June and met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and intel officials as Ukraine’s counteroffensive fails to significantly break the Russian lines. The United States is considering providing Ukraine with cluster munitions.

Russia reported that fighters of the 200th brigade of the Southern group of Russian troops repelled four attacks from the Ukrainian Armed Forces “in a day”.
