Four Chinese Balloons Pass Right Over Taiwan 100 to 160 Nautical Miles From Military Base
Four Chinese balloons flew directly over the island of Taiwan today between 100 and 160 nautical miles from a Taiwanese military base: Chuan Kang Air Base (CCK), and 78 miles northwest of Keelung.
TAIPEI - Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense reported today that four Chinese balloons flew straight over the island of Taiwan between 100 and 160 nautical miles from a military base, and 78 miles from the Taiwanese city of Keelung.

Taiwan’s MOD reported a total of 9 Chinese military aircraft and 4 PLA Navy (PLAN) naval vessels around the island. The four balloons spotted were twice as many as the two balloons that crossed over the islands on January 2nd, which was also unprecedented.
