Four International Underwater Telecommunications Cables Cut, Houthis Deny Cutting Them

The cables that were reproted to have been cut by Houthi rebels reportedly belonged to AAE-1, Seacom, EIG, and TGN systems. The Houthis have since denied cutting them.

EUROPE/ASIA - Four underwater cables linking Europe to Asia, and China to the West were reportedly targeted by Houthi rebels, according to Israeli media, which reported the cables that were cut belonged to AAE-1, Seacom, EIG, and TGN systems.
