Houthis Fired Anti-Ship Missile Toward USS Carney In Gulf Of Aden
US Central Command released a statement saying that the Houthis fired an anti-ship missile toward USS Carney in the Gulf Of Aden after reports of an explosion in the region.
AL HUDAYDAH - There was an incident 60 nautical miles from Al Hudaydah, Yemen where an explosion was heard, after which missiles were sighted 4 nautical miles from the position.
U.S. Central Command later reported that a missile was fired by the Houthis toward the USS Carney in the Gulf of Aden. The Carney then successfully intercepted and shot down the missile, according to U.S. Central command.
