IAEA: Iran Has Removed A Third Of The Inspectors Designated For Iran
Spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Nasser Kanani claimed that "The United States, Great Britain, Germany, and France politicized the IAEA Board of Governors for their own interests".
TEHRAN - The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has reported that Iran has withdrawn "several experienced Agency inspectors assigned to conduct verification activities in Iran," and reports that Iran has "effectively removed" about one-third of the core group of the "Agency’s most experienced inspectors designated for Iran".
The inspectors that have been removed were assigned to carry out verification activities within Iran under the NPT Safeguards Agreement and follow another recent withdrawal of another "experienced Agency inspector for Iran," according to the IAEA statement.
