Iran: West Cannot Stop Us If We Want To Become A Nuclear State

The IRGC has repeatedly threatened to wipe out Israel if it makes any 'mistakes', and also threatened to turn a location within the United States into "hellish ruins".

TEHRAN - During a meeting with Iran’s nuclear workers, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said that although whoever says that Iran wants nuclear weapons is lying, if Iran wants to become a nuclear state, the West will not be able to prevent it.

"The thought that we are asking for nuclear weapons is a lie, they know it as well. Our Islamic principles prevent us from pursuing such a weapon, unless it could not be stopped, as they have failed to stop our nuclear advances so far,” the Iranian Supreme Leader said.

He added, “The West cannot stop Tehran from building nuclear weapons if we want it to”.
