Israel Defense Forces (IDF): A shooting was detected from Lebanese territory towards Israeli territory on the Lebanese border. IDF remotely manned aircraft are attacking targets of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon. IDF forces also responded with artillery fire and tanks.
A warning was activated in the north of the country. The details are under review. Further to the initial report, a launch from the Gaza Strip toward the northern region of the country was detected. Air defense fighters successfully intercepted the launch.
Further to the reports, after IDF forces searched the area, an intrusion into Hanita settlement was ruled out.
Also, in the last hour, small arms fire was detected at a number of posts on the Lebanese border.
IDF forces responded by firing tanks at an infrastructure and observation post of the terrorist organization Hezbollah and firing artillery at the sources of the fire. IDF forces are deployed in the area.
An alert was activated in Meshgav. The details are under review. Following the initial report, an unidentified target was identified that crossed from Lebanese territory to Israeli territory, which the air defense fighters successfully intercepted.
