Japan’s Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi described the actions as extremely regrettable and lodged a strong protest, demanding preventive measures. Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi viewed the incident as extremely disappointing and committed to calm and resolute actions while strengthening surveillance.
