Japan Reports Chinese And Russian Military Vessels Around Its Islands
On August 17th, it was confirmed that a total of 11 vessels, 6 Chinese naval vessels, and 5 Russian naval vessels, sailed northwest through the waters between the main island of Okinawa and Miyakojima
Japanese Ministry of Defense: “On August 17th, it was confirmed that a total of 11 vessels, 6 Chinese naval vessels, and 5 Russian naval vessels, sailed northwest through the waters between the main island of Okinawa and Miyakojima, heading for the East China Sea. The Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces will continue to conduct warning surveillance and information gathering”.
