Japanese Ministry of Defense: "The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force confirmed that a Chinese Navy Dongdiao-class intelligence gathering ship sailed northwest in the waters northeast of Miyako Island, then headed south in the waters between Yonaguni Island and Taiwan, toward the Pacific Ocean.
The Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces carried out surveillance and intelligence gathering using Kuroshima, Towada, and P-3C."
