ANKARA, TURKEY — NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated on July 8 that the alliance had shown it is stronger than ever after leaders produced a huge sense of unity and a firm commitment from all 32 members to continue support for Ukraine during the July 7-8 summit in Ankara.
The summit followed commitments from the prior year’s gathering in The Hague on defense spending targets and focused on implementation of those pledges through concrete investments and industrial output.
