North Korea Launches Ballistic Missile Toward East Sea

The launch comes after North Korean state media claimed that U.S. reconnaissance aircraft made an intrusive flight into its EEC, and made threats to shoot down the American aircraft.

SEOUL - North Korea has fired a ballistic missile toward the East Sea, according to a statement by the South Korean military. 

The South Korean military detected the launch and is currently analyzing the details.
