WASHINGTON - U.S. officials say that Chinese citizens have intruded on U.S. military facilities identifying as tourists up to 100 times, including military bases after a previous report earlier this year cited officials as saying that Chinese citizens suspected to be spies were posing as tourists attempting to gain access to Alaskan military bases.

Officials have said that they believe the incidents are attempts to test the security protocols at the sites by Chinese nationals who have been "pressed into service" and told to report their findings back to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
