DERNA - Over 5,000 people have been reported as presumed dead and thousands of people are still missing after floods in Libya, North Africa caused by Mediterranean storm Daniel which resulted in dams bursting in the city of Derna.
Tamer Ramadan, Libya envoy for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies said that at least 10,000 people are still missing, which could cause the death toll to further increase. This article will be updated with more as more information is released.
