WASHINGTON - Chair of the Federal Reserve of the United States Jerome Powell delivered a message on the state of the economy, where he said that although the inflation level has moved down from its peak, it yet "remains too high," adding that the Federal Reserve is prepared to "raise the rates further if appropriate" and intends to hold a restrictive policy until they are confident that inflation is moving "sustainably down toward our objective".
