WORLD — Global concerns have surfaced following the United States' plans to advance its "Golden Dome" missile defense system. North Korea has denounced the initiative as a "very dangerous threatening initiative" and an "outer space nuclear war scenario," according to a May 27, 2025, memorandum from its state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
China has expressed apprehension about a potential arms race in space, viewing the system as a threat to international stability, according to statements by its Foreign Ministry.
