US & UK Navies Respond To Distress Call From Merchant Ship Being Harassed By Iranian Fast-Attack Vessels

The ship being harassed by the Iranian fast-attack craft was an “internationally flagged merchant vessel” transiting the strait.

STRAIT OF HORMUZ - A statement released by the U.S. Naval Forces Central Command Public Affairs office said that the United States and British navies responded to a distress call from a merchant vessel in the Strait of Hurmuz that was being harrassed on June 4th by Iranian fast-attack vessels.
