US Approves Sending F-16 Fighter Jets To Ukraine
Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat: Ukraine "will not be able to defend its airspace with U.S. F-16 fighter jets by the coming fall or winter".
WASHINGTON - The United States has reportedly approved Denmark and the Netherlands to send F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine after the Ukrainian pilots are finished training for the aircraft, according to a Reuters report citing a U.S. Official.
As Denmark and the Netherlands asked for assurances that the United States would expedite the approval, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken made assurances in letters to officials from both countries.
