US Central Command: SYRIA – On the morning of Oct. 23, 2023, the U.S. military destroyed two one-way attack drones near U.S. and Coalition forces in southwest Syria before they reached their intended targets. There are no casualties or damage.

Department of Defense: This weekend, Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III directed an array of additional U.S. military capability to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in order to bolster the ability of American forces there to better defend themselves.
