STRAIT OF HORMUZ - In response to Iranian commercial vessel seizures and harassment in international waters around the Strait of Hormuz, the U.S. military may put armed personnel on commercial vessels traveling through the strait.
A report by AP news citing "American officials" said that the sources did not reveal much regarding the details of the plan, but the report did say placing soldiers on commercial ships in the region could aid in deterring Iran from continuing to seize ships in international waters and may stop escalations from increasing further.
