During a press briefing, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh stated that Central Command remains committed to delivering the remaining aid and will be working with USAID for onward distribution to the Gaza Strip.

"In the coming days, Centcom will work with USAID to deliver the remaining aid commodities, currently afloat, to the port of Ashdod, in Israel, for onward distribution to Gaza, and will provide coordination and liaison support for humanitarian aid delivery as a request of USAID when appropriate," she stated during the briefing.

She said that the aid that yet needs to be delivered to Gaza is either still in Cyprus, or “afloat” either on commercial shipping vessels or U.S. military vessels which are currently underway in the Mediterranean Sea.
