The CURTAIN CALL system demonstrated measurable progress in short-range air defense against unmanned aerial system threats during the five-day evaluation at the California site.

The test examined the system’s ability to detect threats through cameras and sensors, alert a human operator, and launch a defensive “curtain” of drones to intercept incoming UAS.

Evaluators specifically compared performance against single-drone attacks and coordinated assaults from multiple drones at once. Results showed the defense system tracked threats and responded faster than in earlier tests.
