Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters channels designated the operation as Operation True Promise 5, describing it as a conditional response to Israeli strikes on Hezbollah targets in Beirut’s Dahieh suburb earlier on June 7.
