Japanese Ministry of Defense: "Two Chinese bombers (H-6) flew over the Pacific Ocean from the East China Sea, passing between the main island of Okinawa and Miyako Island. In contrast, Japan Air Self-Defense Force scrambled the fighters of the Southwestern Air Force to respond”.

Japan Reports Russian Naval Vessel Sailing Around Japanese Islands

Japanese Ministry of Defense (translation): "Regarding the trend of Russian naval vessels, the Ministry of Defense and the Self-Defense Forces have announced that the Maritime Self-Defense Force Ominato Guard Corps "Suou" (Ominato), Yokosuka Guard Corps "Enshu" (Yokosuka), and the 2nd Air Group "P-3C" (Hachinohe) belonging to the 2nd Aviation Group. They also carried out surveillance and information gathering."
