Total Attacks On US Bases In Iraq And Syria Rises To 84
DOD: The US reserves the right to act in self-defense against those launching any attack against U.S. personnel, names Katai'ib Hezbollah and Harakat al-Nujaba terrorist groups.
BAGHDAD - U.S. military bases in the Middle East have been attacked 9 times in just the last 24 hours, which brings the total of attacks on U.S. military bases in Iraq and Syria to 84.
The latest attack was a "A multi-rocket attack [that] was launched at US and Coalition forces in the vicinity of Union III and the Baghdad embassy complex," a US official stated, adding that there were no reported damages or casualties as a result of the attack despite reporting by ABC news that rockets had hit embassy gates and caused material damages, but no casualties.
