UK, Ukraine Sign New Defense Pact. British Intelligence Updates April, 2024
The UK and Ukraine have signed a new defense agreement to encourage cooperation on defense and industrial issues.
BRITAIN/UKRAINE - The United Kingdom (Britain) and Ukraine has signed a new defense agreement, which the British government says is meant to encourage cooperation on defense and industrial issues.
Furthermore, British Defense Intelligence reports that Russia is continuing to conscript soldiers "each spring and autumn", adding that the current spring conscription began on April 1st, 2024 in which 150,000 soldiers from 18-30 years old have been set to be conscripted.
According to British intelligence, the conscripts will be serving 12 months, which applies to all branches of Russia's military forces, but are currently not employed in combat roles in Ukraine, but rather serving in garrisons across Russia itself.
